When to use Matching Record  versus Filter Datasource?

• Filter: Use a filter if you can just "set it and forget it" like the language setting in an Antenna app. Another place where you'd use it is if you want to get a list of many things and only see a selected subset.

• Go To Matching Record:  Should be used when you need a particular record AND you are not tapping on that record in a pattern or list.

• You need to use a data source once before you try to use Go To Matching Record. This is a dependency. 

• You only need to use Refresh Datasource if you change a filter and want to get the data updated BEFORE switching to a new view. EachScape automatically refresh a "tainted" data source each time the app switches to a view.
